Dextran sulfate sodium salt is a polymeric compound that is a dehydrated glucose polymer produced by the fermentation of sucrose through the intestinal membrane-like bead-1226. White powder, odorless, odorless, soluble in hot water, insoluble in ethanol. Clinically commonly used are medium molecular weight (about 70,000, dextran 70), low molecular weight (about 20000 to 40,000, dextran 40 or 20) and small molecular weight (about 10,000, dextran 10; 409 generations of plasma) of the right-hand saccharine.

Clinically, the sterilization solution of Dextran sulfate salt physiological saline or glucose is a colorless or slightly viscous liquid with the same weight and salt content as human plasma, pH is about 4 to 7.
